it’s deaf-initely my life stage production
Welcome to TaylorMade Visual Productions, where heart meets art, and passion transforms into meaningful experiences.
Meet Candance, the proud owner of TaylorMade Visual Productions. As a Sibling of a Deaf Adult (S.O.D.A.), Candance was raised in the Deaf community and immersed in its rich culture from a young age. Her lifelong connection to the Deaf community led her to become a certified and licensed American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter, and for over 17 years, she has served in a variety of settings. Today, Candance’s heart for advocacy shines through in her work as a Special Education Teacher, where she works with both deaf and autistic scholars.
Candance’s journey has brought her to a new creative frontier—producing her first stage play, "It’s Deaf-initely My Life," based on her self-titled children’s book. In January 2025, the production was showcased at the Florissant Performing Arts Center, marking a significant milestone in her life. This heartfelt project reflects Candance’s dedication to creating space for voices that are often overlooked, misunderstood, or doubted. Inspired by her own experiences of being bullied and taken for granted in her youth, Candance is driven to give back to the Deaf community and support youth who may feel undeserving or forgotten.
At TaylorMade Visual Productions, Candance is not just telling stories—she is empowering, advocating, and ensuring that those who have long been pushed to the margins find the space to be seen, heard, and valued. Thank you for joining me on this beautiful journey of resilience, creativity, and community.
